American Warehouse Systems is a Federal Government GSA Prime Contractor registered with the Small Business Administration and the Federal Government Central Contractor Registration (CCR). We specialize in providing turn-key engineered material handling systems from design to implementation. Our partnership with the US Federal Government has resulted in thousands of successful material handling systems such as Mobility Storage Systems, High Bay Storage Systems, Storage Aid Systems, Defense Distribution Depots and others. Through the years we have been honored to receive many long term contracts designed to aid our government clients in material handling equipment procurement. Because of these contracts, we have the capabilities to provide virtually every scope of work in their entirety on a Federal Supply Contract.

American Warehouse Systems’ ownership group has been leading the material handling industry since 1968. In 2000 the former Minnesota Lift Truck Inc. was purchased by the current management group and became Lift of Minnesota Inc. In 2003 the American Warehouse Systems team joined the organization as the global systems integration division.

American Warehouse Systems was founded in order to provide warehouse and distribution facilities quality and cost effective material handling systems and storage equipment.

	American Warehouse Systems is a corporate member of the International Code Council. The ICC is the organization that has authored IBC 2003 and 13 other international standard codes. It's member companies write and guide the international construction codes to create a standard for building safety.

	American Warehouse Systems is on General Services Administration Schedule 56 for mezzanines, modular offices, wire partitions, material elevators and all accessories and options. We are only one of four mezzanine manufacturers in the world that hold this government supply contract. We are also the only GSA manufacturer in our category that also belongs to the International Code Council.

	The Better Business Bureau is the recognized standard in ethical business practices. In today's internet world BBB members are the only internet vendors contractually bound to follow strict business ethics guidelines. 	The Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association is the only national trade association dedicated to improving the proficiency of the independent material handling equipment distributor. 	American Warehouse Systems is registered with the US Government as a Prime Contractor. Approximately half of our business is with the Department of Defense supplying turnkey material handling systems to US Military Installations across the globe.
