Wisconsin Sheriff David Clarke Jr. at NRA-ILA Leadership Forum 2014 Defending freedom is a fight that has no end. At the NRA Leadership Forum on Friday, April 25, Wisconsin Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. shared his viewpoint on gun control.  In the video below, Sheriff Clarke speaks about how our Second Amendment rights are under siege and urges us to not be silent nor afraid to defend our constitutional rights. So what is the plan? 1.  Defending freedom is a fight that has no end.  You must be willing to resist any attempt by the government to disarm law abiding citizens. 2.  Stand together by joining and supporting organizations that are fighting to secure our freedom like the NRA. Barstool Economics - Bars, Beer and Your Taxes

I'm sure many of you have seen this anecdote.  It was recently sent to my by a friend (again) and I thought I would share it here. Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this: The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing. The fifth would pay $1. The sixth would pay $3. The seventh would pay $7. The eighth would pay $12. The ninth would pay $18. The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59. So, that's what they decided to do. Come And Take It!

The slogan “Come and Take It” was first used in the American Revolution but really gained popularity during the Texas Revolution in 1835. It eventually turned into an iconic flag in Texas. In the early 1990s, the flag was updated to reflect current times and is now displayed prominently around the country. Before the Texas Revolution of 1835 the Mexican Army spent a great deal of time and energy attempting to disarm the people of Texas, causing quite the stir with the local population.  In 1831 the Mexican government granted the people of San Antonio a small bronze cannon which was later moved to Gonzales Texas. The cannon was displayed prominently and was a source of pride among the people. Once the conflict between the ... Read more

A 9/11 Tribute - God Bless America

As we approach the 10th anniversary of 9/11, it is important to take the time to remember the 2,977 victims whose lives were tragically lost as a result of these horrible attacks.
