American Warehouse Systems is MVP!

American Warehouse Systems is proud to announce that we have been awarded with the MHEDA (Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association) MVP (Most Valuable Partner) award for the second year in a row.  MVP status is given to members who demonstrate a commitment to business excellence, professionalism, and good stewardship.  MHEDA is the only trade association dedicated solely to improving the proficiency of the independent material handling equipment distributor.  MHEDA represents all segments of the material handling industry and offers industry specific business training and resources to help maintain and strengthen your company. To obtain MVP status, a company must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in five areas:  industry relations, customer relations, peer-to-peer networking, education, and best practices.  There are dozens of requirements to meet in each area, ... Air Cargo 463L Storage System OCONUS

Elevated 463L Pallet Storage System OCONUS American Warehouse Systems was recently contacted by an Air Force base in Germany to help them with a new project.  They had a building that was formerly used as an aircraft shelter and the customer wanted to turn it into a cargo storage area.  They planned to store 463L pallets, which are the Air Force standard pallets used to transport military cargo and can hold up to 10,000 lbs each.  The customer was concerned that offloading would be difficult due to the size and weight surrounding the pallets. Our design specialists worked closely with the customer to come up with a turnkey custom mezzanine with a pallet conveyor that would meet every need the customer had and they were able to purchase the system on ... Have Your Warehouse Needs Changed With Your Mission?

We recently did work for a National Guard unit that was experiencing a mission change that effected their warehouse storage needs.  Their warehouse was very well organized and maintained and included shelving, pallet rack, wire enclosures, modular offices and an industrial steel mezzanine.  Due to ... In Material Handling Systems Integration, Teamwork Is The Answer

In many cases clients might decide to use a different vendor for each and every product and service comprising the whole. When this happens, it can become quite difficult to manage the entire project, as each vendor has different schedules and requirements. With American Warehouse Systems, this isn't a problem. We supply every product and service required to complete a successful material handling system including material handling equipment, mechanical installation, electrical systems, fire suppression, HVAC, concrete work, etc.  In addition we also coordinate every aspect of the project, freeing the ...
