High-Tech Weapon for the Revolution!

During the Revolutionary War, many soldiers carried a version of a flintlock pistol.  By today’s standards, flintlock weapons were very slow and inaccurate.  However, it was one of the most technologically advanced devices in its time.

An expert shooter can expect to be able to fire three rounds per minute with this weapon and must be within 15 feet of the target in order to have any accuracy.

Check out this video, which demonstrates repeated loading and firing of a flintlock pistol.
