The HULC (Hulk) Exoskeleton

When a military member is in on the ground in a combat zone, they are usually required to carry a heavy load of supplies and equipment.  This increases the stress their bodies endure and can lead to injuries.  Lockheed Martin has come up with a way to solve that problem for the men and women fighting for our freedom. The HULC exoskeleton allows heavy load to be transferred to the ground through powered titanium legs without sacrificing mobility.  It is a completely un-tethered, hydraulic-powered anthropomorphic exoskeleton.  In layman’s terms, this means that the user is able to carry up to 200 extra pounds for extended periods of time and over a variety of terrains.  The HULC is so flexible the soldier is able to do ...
