A Closer Look at Liquid Explosives

canister and fuel in test tube isolated on white Most of us are familiar with federal law that prohibit travelers from taking too many liquids on an airplane.  These rules were enacted after it was discovered that suspected terrorists were planning on bringing liquid explosives onto a plane.  The explosives were going to be disguised as regular products, such as Gatorade or shampoo.  Luckily, their plan was foiled by diligent authorities.  The question is, how do liquid explosives work?
