Your needs and wants change from time to time. What might be perfect for you today, might not be the perfect situation down the road. The same is true for all our customers, especially with a quickly changing economy. At American Warehouse Systems, we will help you figure out the best solution for the present as well as the future.
Occasionally, however, anticipated needs don’t turn into actual needs. Several years ago American Warehouse Systems built a mezzanine on a military base in the South Eastern United States. The customer was more than happy with the result. A few years later, significantly more space was needed that had not been anticipated. We were able to work with the customer in order to find a solution that satisfied them, and we ended up more than doubling the size of their mezzanine and greatly increasing their storage capacity.
A few months ago, the customer again contacted us because the needs of the personnel on base had changed and stairs they had been using for the mezzanine were no longer the best option for them. In an effort to save space, OSHA stairs were originally installed. These stairs had an angle of 43º and a 12 foot run, which is fairly steep. In order to accommodate the needs of the personnel, it was decided to install IBC stairs, which have an angle of 31º and a 18.5 foot run. We are currently in the process of installing the new stairs and the customer is thrilled with them.
